Greenville, SC | Oct. 23, 2024 – The Spinx Company is proud to announce the grand opening of the Spinx Market & Eatery, a new concept from the local retail chain located at 659 S. Main Street. Positioned in the heart of downtown Greenville, the Spinx Market & Eatery is set to become the go-to neighborhood nook for all of life’s necessities. As a new concept by the Spinx Company, the Spinx Market shares the same mission of being a friendly, local company that makes people’s lives easier. The Spinx Market offers a wide variety of everyday essentials, quick snacks, fresh produce, made-to-order food, and other local favorites.

The Spinx Market will operate seven days a week from 5a.m. – 2a.m. while the kitchen will operate from 5a.m. – 9p.m. Breakfast will be served from 5a.m. – 11a.m., while lunch and dinner options will be served from 11a.m. – 9p.m. After 9p.m., grab-and-go options will be available until 2a.m. The menu will include the legendary Spinx fried chicken while featuring new items such as paninis, flatbreads, salads, assorted pastries and desserts and more.
With a commitment to being a good neighbor, the Spinx Market will feature a variety of local and seasonal items. Local partnerships include: Methodical Coffee, Double Stamp Brewery, Carolina Honey Bee, Twin Creeks Lavender, Common Pops, Dottie’s Toffee, Project Host, Soteria and many more.
The site of the Spinx Market dates back to 1884 and was used as a gas station in 1935. The Spinx Market seeks to pay homage to the former Sinclair Service Station by incorporating their unique features in its design. For the construction of this new concept, The Spinx Company worked with general contractor Trehel Corporation and architecture firm SHLTR.
